Scentsy - Awful Customer Service AND duplicate charge that CLEARLY you have no intention of resolving
I ordered an item for a GIFT and sent it directly to the recipient. A month later, I get my credit card statement and THEY double charged me!!!!
I called the company and they directed me to call the recipient and have them box back up the duplicate order that shipped out(which was their fault) and when they get back the unused item(shipping paid by the birthday girl herself)- they would issue a refund! How awkward is this!? Let me call and say "Hey- you know that gift you got from me- please box half of it up and send it back to the company!"
Ridiculous! WILL NEVER BUY FROM SCENTSY AGAIN and plan to find different websites to air my opinion as the company offered no other solutions!
Hmmmm, how about- "We are really sorry and customer service is very important to us- we see this is a duplicate order- 2 exact same orders and charges and SAME gift note.
We will be happy to issue a refund for the second order!" Problem solved- but no such resolution took place.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Monetary Loss: $66.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Scentsy Cons: Poor customer service.

I don't agree with you - I am not happy with my products and the consultant can't help out as the company made a the final decision
I spent $277 , $130 was wasted on the diffuser - the oil fragrances choke you as they smell horrible

you never should have called the corporate office for one, you should have called the consultant you placed the order with as your issue would have been resolved faster and at the cost of the consultant and not you or the reciepnt of the gift.
Scentsy is an amazing company with an amazing and safe product but you need to work with a trust worthy consultant and not take your compliants to the corporate office since the fault should fall on the consultant and not the corporate office.
Every company makes mistakes and you are going to bash such a wonderful company and product because of a mistake that should have been taken up with your consultant and not directly with scentsy.
Sounds like you need to learn more about Direct Selling companies and how they work and find a consultant within any of them to work with before bashing Scentsy or any other direct selling company.

I never ordered through a consultant. A friend told me about them and I visited the website- put my items in an online cart and checked out.
Then called the only phone number listed on my email confirmation for the order.
So, that sounds to me like a company problem! Poor resolution, poor customer service to resolve the problem as well.
You can't order directly from scentsy itself. You might have visited a "scentsy site" that was just a consultants site.
Scentsy will send return labels. They also don't process any cards directly. I'm sorry you had this issue though. I myself am a scentsy consultant and hope that you don't judge the product and entire enterprise based on this one episode.
I've never double charged anyone. And if something isn't right I take the time and energy necessary to make it right for my customers.
