Consultant

I have received numerous complaints about scentsy products that i have sold to customers! First off just let me say this company does not want to here about problems with their products- I was told not to call back! The wax is very poor quality with little bubbles through-out,crusty edges around packages that makes it look old and the smell only lasts one day-two if your lucky! I have had to refund money to unhappy customers from my last three orders, so instead of making money i am losing money! Its very sad that this company has gone down hill in such a short amount of time!Ive also received complaints concerning their room sprays- it seems that it is very distructive to house hold items! I understand you have to be careful where you spray this very oily substance BUT, you should be able to spray it in the air without it ruining everything it touches!

I sadly hear this often about not only this company but many others...the bottom line 25% or less is just not going to give you what you need.

I have been successful for over 8 years with another fragrance company and if you are interested I would love to share more. No silly quotas, or hoops to jump through. plus you make 50% profit!

You can learn more about this company at http://www.MiaBellaInfo.com

Sorry you had this issue - there ARE good companies out there that put their distributors FIRST!!

Guest

As a Scentsy consultant, I think the pay is horrible. For direct sales, a measly 25% for hours of work is just plain ridiculous.

I love the products, but I think it's sin how little I get paid for my time. $65.00 for a $260.00 sale is just no fair.

40% is average pay in direct sales. Where Scentsy gets off paying us very hard working consultants so little is a joke.

I completely agree. That is crazy bad that's why I quit too because I barely made enough to pay the $10 a month for the website.

There are better opportunities out there an businesses like scentsy (network marketing) are being given a bad name because of what they do. There are still good Network Marketing opportunities out there that actually help others and you get paid way better! I have joined one and it is just amazing at what they are producing and giving away to the promoters.

If interested let me know. nrwade10@***.com

Actually that is not close to being average at all until you are at a higher level. To be frank 20-25% is average.

$65 for $260 is quite fair. If you throw a party successfully with more than one person that is about 2-3 orders. If you have invited 10+ do the math.

Parties should be fun and not just facts. Make it something that they will never forget and you will get more order than you can handle.

I was only with Scentsy for a few months. I noticed the decline in customer service from there stand point, and to tell you the truth I wasn't making enough money to do anything with. That's why I joined Limu, it pays WAY better and has a product that is actually helping peoples lives!

I think that your biggest problem was giving the cash to her boyfriend instead of the consultant herself. Have you checked to see if the boyfriend had given her your cash?

As a consultant I am very sorry. The consultants that I work with goes throuugh every detail with you before closing out my team works hard to make sure that we get u all of what u want.

It not about the money for us. My team wants you to love the products as much as we do Go to the scentsy site and file a complaint make sure you have at least a name and the area you and/or the cansultant live at.

@ScentsyMan I am contemplating of joining Scentsy, this is why I'm reading reviews and researching more info about the company. I noticed that almost all of the reviews, ordered not fulfilled.

And why do they give the money to consultants? Can they order directly to your website and delivered to their houses?

Can you pls email me more info about Scentsy? MicahKnots@***.com Thanks

Guest

You can, however, report this consultant to your local Better Business Bureau. Sometimes consultants register with BBB, though not often. You can also report the consultant to Scentsy, via Scentsy's corporate website. I can't promise that they will help you , but they may be able to.

Guest

Your problem would have been with the Demo. NOT the company!

The Demo are independent. And run their own company how they want.. I would be very unhappy with the Demo!

In fact I would have contacted the Company and told them about this Demo.

If you encounter consultant Michelle Bovee do not buy from her. She will just take your orders and not delivered the items.

She already swindle a lot os people in Temecula, California. She is a liar and in deep financial trouble. She took orders from a lot of people and moved out of state and not delivered the merchandise. If you want to give money away then go ahead and order from her.

She will insist with the company that all orders were delivered and given to someone to give it to you. Hope all will learn from my experience with this consultant.

AND Scentsy sent you all the stuff you ordered from me so you have double now..If anyone wants to believe her I am so sorry, but I have never had a complaint and if you want you can contact some of my consumers I had for 3 yrs plus.. i will do what I can for my customers,, Thank you Michelle Bovee

Shady scentsy rep. keeps lying about my order!

I did a basket party one month ago. Well I was supposed to get the product in 3 days.

Ok, didn't come in 3 days because she slipped up and told me she hadn't put the order in. Allow 3 days once again. Same deal except now everything is on backorder cause scentsy has sold out of everything. Should be here by end of week.

Few days later she said she just put the order in. I am sick of this! I want a number to call to talk to someone.

I am sick of this! Help please

Wow it seems there are many shady scentsy reps...... I had one give me 6 months of excuses as she spent the money i gave her for order & ended up calling cops on me to shut me up from messeging her family cause it was alllies

Guest

Scentsy will screw you over any way they can. You would be better off buying Walmart or other brands!

Guest

The rep absolutely should not have told you 3 days. Scentsy orders usually take about 10 business days for delivery.

If items are backordered, you add another 1-2 weeks onto that.

Your issue is with a Consultant, not with Scentsy itself. This situation could have been easily avoided had the Consultant been honest with you from the get-go.

Guest

Scentsy has a 10 day shipping policy, so I don't know where she got the 3 days from, maybe she usually gets orders in three days, but she should have told you policy states 10 business days. It's consultants like this one that give other consultants a bad rep!

Guest

There aren't many items on back order right now.. Did you pay her in cash?

(I would never recommend doing, regardless if you know the consultant well) If not, check your bank statements (if you just gave her a credit card number) and make sure it hasn't been used. Otherwise you can go to www.scentsy.net and contact customer service and see if they can track the status of your order.

Sentsy Party Money given then no product delivered

On June 13th 2012 I had a $600.00 Sentsy Party. The lady cashed the checks and still no products..I can't find a main phone number for the company.

Sorry, but it sounds like that woman took off with your money. I am a consultant--it only takes around a week after an order is put in to get the product.

Sounds like a legal issue. I'm sorry that you are dealing with this!

Keep track of the bank statements saying where checks were cashed--and if you used a credit card, call your credit card company. They can get your money back!

Damaged car interior

Had scentsy hanging air freshener in my truck and was barely touching my plastic bezel around my stereo. Well it melted the plastic.

***. So I put it in my sun visor mirror to throw it away when I got home. Well you guessed it. It melted the plastic cover of the vanity mirror.

THIS STUFF CANNOTBE SAFE IF IT ISDOING THIS. approx $300 in damage just to replace the two items.

Besides the scent did not last that long and for the price I can getter better stuff at the auto parts store for a lot less than this dangerous stuff.

If it melted the plastic on one part of your car, why would you put it near another plastic part of your car? And sorry, but like everyone else has said, they do have warnings on the package not to let it touch your car interior...I'm all for pushing rules but when you do that you assume liability for the damage.

Personally, I wouldn't repair the damage, I would keep it as a punishment to myself for the error, but that's just me.

I couldn't justify spending $300 to replace two fairly insignificant plastic pieces that were damaged due to my own negligence to follow basic directions.

I do agree that the scent seems to run out very quickly!

Putting it in the mirror was dumb, but honestly, who would think you would need to read instructions for a hanging air freshener? One of these stupid things just melted the plastic around my gear shifter.

I’m going to try to sue the casino that gave it to me.

When they were handed out they were in packaging that had no warning. I’m beyond pissed....

Guest

EVERY car freshener on the market has essential oil in it, that oil will damage plastic. Thats common sense folks, this is not isolated to just Scentsy trust me.

Guest

I agree with BriMan (although not his tone). I have had the same type of damage done to the plastic on my cars dash.

But it was caused by one of those pinetree-shaped air fresheners.

Guest

Can you read?? It CLEARLY states on ALL air fresheners that the oils can cause damage.

Not just on Scentsy Circles, but all hanging car air fresheners...

Don't blame Scentsy because you didn't follow the directions! :roll

Guest

Call Scentsy Consultant support. They do not take missing customer orders lightly. If you have proof of purchase they will generally ship your missing items that day and then go after the consultant on your behalf.

Scentsy poor quality products

Out of five Warmers I've bought, three do not work. One has a short in the cord, and two have cracked on the piece that holds the wax.

That basically adds up to $100 wasted. I will never buy another scentsy product. I will tell everyone how inferior the products are. And the wax ruined my coffee table.

And the room apray leaves oil stains on fabric, carpet, and ruins wood. Hate scentsy!

And as many people have posted, the scents only last an hour or so. And to further make a point, the people who are consultants in my area are very shady people.

Well since wax isn't supposed to be on a coffee table and in a warmer instead I assume it would not be good for a coffee table if it comes into contact with it. Same with most products that contain an oil or scent .

Guest

Maybe if you put the crack-pipe down you would be able to manage your

products.

Guest

I don't believe this post! I have a Scentsy warmer or plug in every room I've had them for 7 months turn it on every single day not one bulb has even burned out not one warmer was defected and my scents last a week! I only but one cube in my full size burner and still going strong so yeah this is bull

Guest

I have been a Scentsy Independent Consultant for almost a month and I've been using the same two cubes of of wax for two weeks.. the smell has not dwindled at all :) It could be just a lighter scent you're burning

Guest

Scentsy does have a guarantee, nothing is perfect, you should call them and they will send you new stuff, another thing are you burning yur scents right 1 little block at a time maybe 2 not the whole thing correct. just trying to help you, ihave been doing this awhile and have no complaints.

so maybe give them another chance. did you contact support or your consultant..

There are return policies as well as others who will help you. Scentsy Products

I am disaappointed with my Scentsy purchase. It is a waste of money.

When I add a square it only last an hour or two and you cant smell it unless you are standing near the warmer. I wont spend another dime on their products (not even for a light bulb). I sent them 2 messages about returning it but I have never received a response. The sales rep and my friend told me their's last for 20 days or so.

I am going back to burning Bath and Body warming oils. Theyre expensive but they last for a long time and it brings a nice fragrance to my whole house.

I don't sell Scentsy...just a big fan. I run 2 plug-in warmers and 4 full-size warmers in my house, 24/7.

I start off with 2 bars in each full size warmer and 1 and a half in the plug-in warmers. The scents last me about 3-4 days before they don't smell anymore. Then, I use a paper towel to soak up about half of the liauid in the warmer. Then, I add a new bar to the no-longer-scented wax.

It works great for me, keeps costs down on replacing ALL of the wax, too. I LOVE my Scentsy products and have never had any major problems.

Although...I DID have to shave the cat once when he decided to BATHE in the warmer, like a fountain. Lol ;-)

Guest

I dont even sell scentsy i am jjsut a fan of the product, i have found that when my bars are stored in warmer conditions...including the counter of my un airconditioned house the scent wa sweaker and kind of dissapointing, as soon as i started storing them int he fridge it was great again :) i find one cube lasts 12-24 hrs, anyone who told you it would give scent for 20 days off one cube is a liar, its not feasible really, but try and keep the storing temp in mind it did make a difference for me :)

Guest

Yes, it is a large warmer from Sentsy. I have tried at least ten different scents from my last order, two cubes at a time. Used to they would smell through the whole house, but not any more.

Guest

:( Have had correspondence with company regarding bars that don't smell as strong as they used to. They said I needed to contact a rep in my area.

I contacted two different reps and the situation has gone nowhere. I contacted the company again, twice, with no response to my emails.

I will not buy from them again. Customer support is horrible and they put their product problems back on a rep.

Guest

I'd also like to know if you're warming the scents in a Scentsy warmer, and what fragrance you're warming. I've been a consultant for a few years and have never had an issue with a bar not scenting a room.

Granted, some scents are more potent than others, but mine always last hours.

My site is www.TrinScents.Scentsy.us if you'd like to contact me. I'm sorry you had a bad encounter.

Guest

Id love to try and help you. How many cubes are you using at a time and in what size warmer?

An undelivered order of Scentsy

On 6/10/2011, I ordered $103.55 of items. I paid with a check which got cashed on 6/l6/2011. I was terminated from employment on 6/17/2011. The order did not come in so I told the hostess Donna Richardson to contact me when it came in so I can pick it up. She never called. I emailed her 5 times about my order and she never responded. I contacted Scentsy about it and they told me that my order was given to me at the office. Donna told Scentsy that she gave me the order. Donna lied.

Scentsy is still cheating many people of the money that is paid. I was a victim of that scam.

My order was on 6/10/2011 for the amount of $103.55 and the so called friend Donna Richardson cashed my check and lied to Scentsy by telling them that she gave me my order. Scentsy believed Mrs Richardson and kept my money and I am still waiting for an order or my money back.

I could not cancel the check because I had faith in the person that was my friend and co-worker.

Disappointing

I loved Scentsy. I always bought the big scents (blocks) however they took those away and now only sell the small ones!

Well I swear they have done something different to the product as well. I could burn for a week or 2 and still smell my scent but now I get a day out of it! I was thinking of becoming a rep but now I'm not so sure of that. I can I sell a product I can't stand behind.

And this is how I know its true that something has changed. I bought some new and old scents a few times and they only lasted for a day. I found so e of my old ones that are over a year old and I have been burning them for a week and still smell as if I just put in a new scent!!!!

So does anyone have any thoughts on this? Very unhappy!!!

The light in my burner takes for ever to melt my wax. Bought new light bulb from consultant still will not melt wax.

Changed wax an burner and wax. Still takes for ever to melt.

Wax does not smell? What is wrong!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-822724

I agree with you that the wax takes forever to melt!

I was told that it should take 20 minutes max.

Don't get me wrong, Scentsy warmers are absolutely gorgeous, probably the best out there, but in terms of melting they're not so great.

I have a Yankee Candle warmer and any type of wax I put in it, including Scentsy, melts right away and that's what I want!

I don't want to wait for an hour for my wax to completely melt!

This is something that is holding me back from selling Scentsy. :(

Guest

I agree with this completely when I first started buying the scents they lasted at least a week, 1 cube (this would b e worth the money) but not I get MAYBE a day out of it and its just not cost effective when I have 4 of them...

Guest

I have a costumer who was burning the same cube for a few weeks..only thru the night but all night she would burn it...she said yea it takes a bit longer for the room to fill up but once it does the room still smells strong! Is your only problem the smell isn't lasting as long?

Maybe try a new scent? See if something new changes your opinion!

Kinley Bek

This is exactly why I joined The Limu Company!

Guest

I can barely get a half day of scent with the newer lines. The cubes from Wal-mart last longer. Guess I'll stop wasting my money on this stuff.

Scentsy - Poor Customer Service

I ordered a full size scentsy warmer via a website in December. When my order arrived, I opened the box only to discover that they did not include the dish that goes with it. I called scentsy directly and they told me that there was nothing that they could do for me and that I needed to contact the Rep from the website where I had placed the order from.

So...I called the rep and told her my situation. She then said that it is scentsy's policy that customers must ship the item back at their own expense (and it wasn't even my fault!). The most ridiculous thing that they told me to do was to wait for them to ship me the dish so that I could place it inside the original box and ship it back to them for a replacement. I paid $45 for the warmer, plus $12 to ship it back for a replacement.

Long story short...I will never buy from Scentsy again. They obviously do not care about their customers.

I read through the post. So the problem is the rep is suppose to refund the money or exchange to the customer? If the product is not in resalable condition then the consultant is out the money? As stated here Scentsy Rules and regulations Procedures for Exchanges and Replacements:9.4.1 – Customer Exchanges or Replacements

Scentsy Family would prefer customers work through their Consultants to handle all customer exchanges

and/or replacements. Customers who do not have, or cannot locate, their Consultant should contact

Consultant Support for assistance.

9.4.2 – Consultant Exchanges

Product being returned for an exchange must be in resalable condition as defined in Section 15 – Definitions.

1. You must be the Consultant who originally purchased the merchandise from Scentsy Family to

exchange it.

2. You must pack the items in proper shipping carton(s) and packing materials and ship to Scentsy

Family.

3. For an exchange, you (or your customer) are responsible for the shipping cost to return product to

Scentsy Family.

4. For each exchange, you must contact Consultant Support and provide the following information: the

Consultant ID number; the order number; the name of the guest/customer who ordered the product; a

copy of the original, dated sales receipt; the address to ship the exchanged product to; and information

on what you are exchanging the product for.

5. The risk of loss or damage in transit shall be borne by you, and if a return carton is lost, it is your

responsibility to trace the package.

6. If you are returning merchandise to Scentsy Family that was returned to you by a customer, Scentsy

Family must receive that product(s) within ten (10) days from when you received the merchandise

from your customer and a copy of the original sales receipt must be included with it.

7. Once Scentsy Family receives the product(s), the exchange product(s) will be shipped to you.9.4.3 – Consultant Replacements

The following procedures apply to all replacements by a Consultant, whether the replacement is on behalf of

their customer or for the Consultant:

a) You must be the Consultant who originally purchased the merchandise from Scentsy Family to return

it.

b) Contact Consultant Support and provide the following information to assist in entering a Replacement

Order: the Consultant ID; the order number; the name of the guest/customer who ordered the product;

a description of the product defect; and an address where the replacement should be shipped to.

c) Consultant Support will enter the Replacement Order and ship the replacement product. A prepaid

return shipping label will be included for the return of the defective product (Scentsy Family will pay

shipping both ways on warranty replacements). If a prepaid label is not included, it will not be

necessary to return the defective product. On replacements where returning the defective product is

required, Scentsy Family does require that a temporary debit be placed against your Product Credit

Account until the defective product is received by Scentsy Family, at which time this debit will be

removed. If the product hasn‘t been received within thirty (30) days, the value of the product will be

deducted from your commission.

d) Pack the items in proper shipping carton(s) and packing materials. Place the prepaid label on the box

and take to your nearest UPS Store.

e) In each return, you must include a copy of the original, dated retail sales receipt.

f) The risk of loss or damage in transit shall be borne by you, and if a return carton is lost, it is your

responsibility to trace the package.

g) If you are returning merchandise to Scentsy Family that was returned to you by a customer, Scentsy

Family must receive that product(s) within ten (10) days from when you received the merchandise

from your customer and a copy of the original sales receipt must be included with it. Okay so how do consultants make money? On the hope that Scentsy products arrive as the customer ordered? If not then its up to consultant to satisfy the order? So the 100% guarantee is advertised as Scentsy refunds the money but actually the consultant is refunding the money at her cost? Even if a customer purchases online and not at Scentsy in home party?

I have been waiting 4 months to receive a Scentsy warmer that I ordered with a consultant

November 21, 2011 - I placed my original order

December 16, 2011 - Received my order

December 17, 2011 - I contacted the consultant because the Scentsy warmer that I ordered was listed as white but when I opened the box it was a cream yellow. The consultant informed me that she did not have any warmers on hand so another order would have to be placed.

December 19, 2011 - consultant contacted me to inform me that she required the warmer in order to complete the exchange.

December 20, 2011 - I contacted the consultant to arrange delivery of the warmer

January 4, 2012 - I was finally able to get a hold of the consultant to arrange delivery of the warmer. I personally delivered the warmer to her home.

January 29, 2012 - I contact the consultant to ask if the new warmer had arrived

January 30, 2012 - She emailed me apologizing for the delay because she was waiting for another order to go to save on shipping costs. She assured me that the order was going out that night

February 6, 2012 - Consultant emailed me informing me that the warmer had been shipped and should arrive shortly

February 14, 2012 - Consultant emailed me to say the warmer had arrived and I ask her if she could mail it to me.

March 1, 2012 - I still had not received a reply from the consultant on whether or not she was sending me the warmer so I emailed her again asking if she could mail it or I would ask a friend to pick it up for me

March 7, 2012 - Consultant emailed me to say she was mailing the warmer

As of today, March 20 2012 I still have not received my warmer. I have called the consultant and left a message for her to call me back. It does not take 9 BUSINESS days for mail to reach it's destination within the same province.

I am not the type of person to complain or email a company with a complaint. I have been very patient with the consultant and the time it has taken for me to receive my product. Today my patience has run out and I am VERY frustrated. This is below POOR customer service and reflects badly not only on the consultant but the company as well. I had considered ordering more Scentsy products and hosting a party in my home however after this experience I will never order another Scentsy product and will even tell others about my experience and how disappointed I am.

What is even more frustrating is the fact that I work in an industry based on customer service, I personally have handled customer complaints so I fully understand what it takes to satisfy a unhappy client. If I treated my clients the way I have been.... I would be fired. The consultant has apologized but doesn't really care. That makes me even more frustrated. And to take it one step further....I myself am a consultant for home products and would NEVER treat one my clients like this. I would take all steps necessary to keep my clients happy which unfortunately isn't a standard that this company supports.

I placed an order in February - paid cash (my mistake) and was told in 2 weeks and I would have my order. Going on three weeks, consultant has not returned my call, hostess has not returned my call - I guess I'm not going to get my stuff.

There is a better, more decorative alternative in home fragrance business. Why compete against the other 500 Scentsy consultants in your town of 50,00 people. There's one on every street corner!

NotHappyGal - I'm a consultant. One of my customers called with the same complaint.

She ordered online and her warmer came with no lid. However, it's an easy fix ... I simply ordered her another lid. It arrived in 5 days and gave her a free bar for the hassle of waiting due to our QA error.

So, guess what Im trying to say is ...

sorry for your experience. With the right consultant you can have an AWESOME Scentsy experience.

Guest

Try www.DavidOreckcandle.com they offer meltables made with vegetable wax. Also as you know the Oreck name means quality. Also, they are recruiting specialists.

Guest

NothappyGal, the best thing you could ever do to help other customers, and Scentsy as a company, is to publish the name of the person you worked through here. Make sure future customers know which consultant should NOT be dealt with.

But yeah, at the same time, the company is very *** about dealing with real customers like yourself. They should make the product right and then discipline the consultant immediately and severely.

Good luck to you.

Guest

I am so sorry you had such a horrible experience. I am not sure who your Scentsy consultant was, but I doubt she will be in business very long working like that.

I am a Scentsy consultant and have been for almost 3 years. It is a wonderful company and the best thing I have ever done. I have never heard of Scentsy being difficult. I do know they want the customers to go through the consultant, but once a consultant calls Scentsy, they will ship a new warmer out ASAP, plus Scentsy always pays for the return shipping.

I have had very few unhappy customers, and when I do, I always make it right. Scentsy does an amazing job with customer service. I think your consultant was either misinformed or just too lazy to do the right thing.

I hope you would give Scentsy another chance and maybe with a new consultant. The products are amazing.

I myself have had such a horrible experience with a scentsy consultant myself I know how SourSmellySister exactly feels. I have contacted customer service myself & did not get any satisfaction after that phone call either.

Delivery time on Scency products

In mid November I ordered scency air fresheners from a co-worker. Why not, they looked good smelled good. The price seemed OK to me, and one less Christmas present I would have to hunt down.

Update Jan. 16.

Come on this the USA and it does not take 8 weeks to deliver anything.

I ordered this product Nov. 15 and never received it.

Asking the rep. will do no good. I know a bogus answer when I hear one.

I figure I will never get my money back so I wrote it off.

Just go to Wal-Mart and buy it from them. It smells the same.

It was probably your consultant, I am a consultant myself and it has never taken over 3 weeks to ship my order its always gotten to me within about 10 days. That being said. Your consultant probably never put a order into them.

Guest

You can contact scentsy directly. Some items go on backorder from time to time, the Car Bars were one such item, often taking months of broken promises and failed production schedules to get out.

But scentsy guarantees 100% satisfaction, whether by product replacement, substitute or refund. I'm so sorry you had this experience. The consultant is at the Frontline of the business, so the type of consultant you deal with does make a huge difference in the customer experience. Again I'm sorry for your losses.

If you Will contact me by email I would love to see if I can help in anyway.

I'm a one year vet of scentsy, and I'm a part of a group of tight knit, dependable and intelligible ladies and gentlemen who would love to see scensty success everywhere! :)

I am a Scentsy Consultant and will probably not be for long. I really like the product, and have never had a customer complaint, but I have.

The last few shipments I have received with Scentsy have been poorly packaged, where a few items have come broken. I even had to deal with a broken bottle of the Scentsy Layers Shower Gel and had to clean and wash all the items in the box, yuk. I also haven't been happy with the look of some of the reactive glaze warmers. They need to do a better quality check on some of them.

I had one warmer come and the glaze looked like a bunch of drips all over the warmer, it looked terrible and nothing like what is in the catalog.

I've never been very impressed with Scentsy's customer service policies, basically the representative always gets the short end of the stick, so to speak. There are other warmer products out there, and though, I think Scentsy has the best melting wax on the market, I'm tired of dealing with issues, so goodbye Scentsy.

Guest

understand it is the person you are ordering from that is causing the problem. confront her and if you dont get remedy, contact scentsy directly. :roll :eek

Guest

I had a similar experience with a certain co worker I ordered from. I was new to scentsy and did not know how it works. It is the ***

sultant you ordered from that is your problem.

I found out that she was "borrowing" my money and others had the same issue with her, she had all sorts of excuses for the long wait time and she always blamed the postal service or the scentsy company for the delays.

I also found out that if the order is in excess of $150.00 there is no shipping charge. We were all charged the shipping and she would wait to accumulate the $150.00 order and pocket our shipping payments.

I changed to a new consultant and have had no delays, shipping charges or problems. I have received orders in less than a week.

Guest

I am a scentsy consultant and i truely dont like certain policies they have but the products are good and truthfully i have 5 burners in my house i use every day even before i joined scentsy i used the products. i have never waited more then a week for any order and i always deliver withing 48 hrs.

i even replace products for my cutomers at no cost to them. I cant believe a consultant would treat cutomers that way.

Guest

Wow, as a Scentsy consultant of 1 year these stories are appaling! I agree with tlcfastlane that product usually gets to me the consultant within 1 -2 weeks depending on weather in our area.

I've never had any complaints like this. These consultants should be reported to Scentsy, expecially if you've ordered and not recieved product. I would copy your receipt and send it to directly to the company. I would also be happy to do this for you, people like this give Scentsy a bad name.

Here is a direct link to my website.

You can contact me direct there and I'd be happy to send on any information to the our support system to see what we can do to get you your product. heatherstrickland.scentsy.us

Ugh ... that is awful.

That consultant needs to be reported immediately. LOL I think I would hunt the consultant down and give her a few educated choice words. However, taking the high road; looks as if you have many consultants willing to help you resolve the issue.

And may have already.

There are more options to obtaining the Scentsy you enjoy such as seeking a trustworthy consultant and/or ordering online where the product will be shipped directly to your home and charged to your credit card. OR, there is always the option to becoming a consultant yourself ...

I had a book party late Dec. 2011 and just received my order after hearing lie after lie from the scentsy consultant.

She left the order at my front door in a clear bag while she knew i was not home! Now i have had complaints from my friends that their wax dosent smell and that some of their bars seem to be used and poured back into the containers.

I will never have another party with this lady again...so mad!!! :(

Scentsy circle took the finish off the gearbox of my new 2011 Elantra!

Updated by user May 23, 2012

Update on Scentsy complaint: I completed the required paperwork which can be obtained online at www.scentsy.com. I have not heard anything back yet. Please continue to complain and also get your Attorney General of your state involved and any consumer protection...

For those of you who have had the same problem with the Scentsy circle, please don\'t give up! Write to them and ask them to cover the damage.

I am also getting my AG in Virginia involved.

This is a bad product which should carry a BIG WARNING! Go to...

I received a scentsy circle for my car and placed it on the shift *** of my new 2011 Elantra. It has been there about 1 week when today I come out and find that it has taken the finish off the protective plate covering the shift box!

The area is bubbled and ruined! I have written to the company to file a complaint for reimbursement for the damage to my car.

No where did it mention this smelly thing would/could permanently damage any surface. DO NOT purchase these items as they are faulty and will permanently damage items.

This just happened to me today. I have a ton of damage from this problem!!

Guest

Just about any air freshener for the car has oils that will damage plastic metal and fabric. Common sense.

But Scentsy does have a warning on the back of the package..... Ijs

Guest

Of course they are made with *** chemicals. Educate yourselves, buy some natural essential oils and make your own, it's easy, natural, safe.

While your at it educate yourself about Monsanto and all the *** chemicals ine hat people call food in this country.

Don't *** to government about not using your common sence! This is what's wrong with this country.

Guest

I just had my car console melt because of a chemical reaction from the Scensy Disk. I have filed a complaint and was told they would not do anything.

I told them I wanted the complaint on record because something is wrong with the chemicals they are using. I will keep you updated.

This was not a stain, the disk ate my console. :(

Guest

You're a dumb ***....learn to read. Just as bad as the lady suing McDonald's for hot coffee except in this case there are clear instructions saying not to do what you did. Bottom line your fault for not reading the product label.

Guest

IT states clear as day on the package to not let the circle come into contact with other surfaces and this is the same as any hanging freshener you buy. The fault is yours for not reading the instructions and warnings. They are soaked in oils.

An oil stain is one thing melting away hard plastic is toxic.

Guest

Not gonna happen. Not sure if you didn't actually read it or what but it specifically states on the back of the packaging that you should not let this product come in contact with any surfaces as it can cause damage.

I am sure you just took it out and threw the packaging away.

Also, your consultant should have told you that. The circles are for hanging from your rearview mirror not for touching surfaces.

Guest

I use these but like many said it says right on the package they are soaked in oils and not let them come in contact with things the oils can damage they are supposed to be left in the pack per instructions and hung on mirror but I have seen the warning and instructions for use on everyone I have bought. If they are left in the pack as it directs on the package the oils would not come in contact if hung on wiper arm etc...I also have seen these directions mentioned on sites I have ordered them from and I think in the books but every one has the instructions on the package to hang and leave in pack and that the oils can damage things.

Guest

I had the Scentsy circle on my blinker on left side of steering wheel. It ate *** in the steering column.

Can't imagine what damage it would cause if it would have gotten to the electrical wiring or even possible fire.

Never read the warning on the package before but I can tell you I won't be using them anymore. Took pictures of the damage, if i could post those pics I would.
