Scentsy plug in warmer
I had bought two plug in warmers about 5 months ago. I recently went on vacation and from seeing about warmers causing fires, I tried to turn them off.
Apparently the on/off switch doesn't work on either so I unplugged them both and took apart to find the ring around both light bulbs is brown like a burnt color. I'm terrified to know now what could have happened. Is this normal? I've never felt in comfortable with my warmers but now every one I have is unplugged.
I've had a premium warmer and have never had an issues with it, even though I unplugged that one too now. Does anyone else have this on their plug ins?

I just had the issue with one of the plug ins. I it was not working f, so I thought the bulb was blown. When I took it apart, it had a burnt area all around where the bulb was.
Ive had a light bulb bust but nothing at all like this, didnt damage the warmer just got a new bulb? hmm? best of luck
I am so sorry you had this issue! I actually noticed browning with my whoot warmer, and I called the company and they replaced it no problem- I am a rep as well so I knew the process.
I have since had other nightlights and havent had an issue, and never with the larger warmers, so it's not a common problem!
I would hate for your opinion of Scentsy to be tarnished by one bad experience- as with any product you plug in, you run the risk of an electrical issue, and although I do it myself, it is definitely not recommended you leave it on overnight or for extreme amounts of time- because it does heat up.
If you are interested I could replace your nightlight and hopefully gain back your confidence in Scentsy if you would like to contact me!
I can be reached at thatcrazyscentsylady@***.com and I would love the chance to make this right for you! Hope to hear from you soon!
HI yes the brown is normal if it won't turn off find a rep can get them to get a hold of customer support to replace them
Yes my plug in would turn off. I have had too many problems the company replaces the product I don't think I want to buy anymore. I would never leave them on if I was not home or sleeping.
